We’re born and bred in Northland and are proud to be a local, family-run business in this beautiful part of New Zealand. We’re also honoured to be part of the thriving business community here in Whangarei, and are dedicated to keeping it local wherever possible.
We are passionate about our business – in fact we live, breathe and dream wedding dresses! We’ve dreamed of our own perfect wedding dresses since we were little girls, and we’d like to be part of your dream wedding too.

Passionate about wedding dresses!
For me, the love affair with all things bridal began when I was a small girl. My earliest and most precious memories are of planning my own wedding, and what my wedding dress would look like. So, when my daughter, Jocelyn was born I thought: Hooray! I get to plan her wedding!
The best thing about my job is seeing the look on a bride’s face when she finds The Dress. I get to relive my own excitement and joy from my wedding every day!
JOCELYN
Weddings – a family affair!
It’s fair to say that my love of bridal gowns came from Mum’s passion. Watching my aunt sew stunning wedding dresses also fuelled the fire and has led me to become a seamstress myself. Between us, we make all the alterations to our customers’ wedding gowns, ensuring the fit is perfect!
This job is a dream come true for me – I’m surrounded by the most beautiful fabrics and dresses all day! I’m passionate about helping brides find their dream wedding dress – that moment when they walk out of the dressing room full of smiles, and then see themselves in the mirror, is what makes my job the best job in the world!!
